Greg Frost
CEO, Frost Mortgage

Greg Frost grew up in East Los Angeles, California. After high school, he relocated to New Mexico, via a football scholarship from the UNM Lobos, and never left. 
He distinguished himself at UNM as Chairman of the Albuquerque tutorial Council, Vice Chair of the UNM Popular Speakers Bureau, Vice President of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, selected to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities ’69 and to the National Fraternity Hall of Fame in ’70. 


Greg entered the Savings & Loan industry in 1972. In 1977 Greg became the President/CEO of DeVargas S&L. He was 28 and noted as the youngest CEO in the history of the Federal Home Loan Bank System. 


Following the profitable sale of the S&L in 1984, Greg entered Mortgage Banking and 15 years later was declared the first billion dollar Loan Originator by Mortgage Originator Magazine and several other industry publications. 


Greg is the Founder of Frost Mortgage Banking Group (1991), now a Division of Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. He is also PRMI’s Vice President of National Training. Greg continues to develop relationship opportunities for Frost Mortgage, as well as for PRMI. He is the author of several Loan Officer sales training manuals, and co-author of “Mastering the Art of Success” with Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield. 


Greg continues to appear and train at 30+ mortgage industry conferences each year. He’s someone who’s done it and enjoys sharing his duplicable systems, strategies and tactics, which he personally uses, to get it done.

Donato D. Maisano, SRPA, SRA, serves as president of Connecticut-based Real Estate Lending Services, Inc., a real estate and financial services consulting company.  His firm provides quality control, loan placement, appraisal analysis and portfolio services on an institutional and individual basis in the Northeast.

 

Mr. Maisano also serves as Director of the Appraisal Management Division of Strategic Information Resources (SIR) based in Springfield, Massachusetts.  In this capacity, he has responsibilities for regulatory, quality control, and panel management.

 

Mr. Maisano has been in the real estate and lending industries since 1973.  An active participant in various trade associations, Mr. Maisano is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers and a past member of the national Board of Directors of the Appraisal Institute (AI), serving on its Washington, D.C. based Government Relations Committee from 1996 to 2003. 

 

On a local level, he has held numerous offices in the Connecticut AI Chapter including President and Treasurer.  Mr. Maisano has been an active member of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association since 1988, serving as Secretary and as a member of its Executive Committee.  He is a past Chair of the Connecticut Real Estate Appraisal Commission.

 

A graduate of Villanova University, Mr. Maisano also holds an MBA from the University of New Haven.

Lawrence Yun is Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research at the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. He oversees and is responsible for a wide range of research activity for the association including NAR’s Existing Home Sales statistics, Affordability Index, and Home Buyers and Sellers Profile Report.
